OH, WHAT A NIGHT!
2022 marked the first year back in person post-pandemic for our Dream Builders’ Bash – and what a Comeback it was!
We welcomed back familiar faces and were introduced to new ones, with everyone participating in a night filled with an exciting live auction, our popular wine pull and silent auction items to bid on. Amazing live music and dancing rounded out the evening, that also included a presentation to longtime partner and Dream Builder Honoree Valley Bank, for their commitment to our mission.
We also honored the selflessness and dedication of volunteer Anneliese Staiger with the Mary E. Van Kirk Volunteer Spirit Award. In addition, Anneliese received a proclamation from her friend and West Caldwell Mayor Joseph Tempesta.
Lastly, we were inspired by our program graduate, Keisha (and her children) who gave a moving speech about leaving an unhealthy relationship and being able to rebuild her life through the assistance of Homeless Solutions. Our CEO Dan McGuire fondly introduced Keisha by recalling how playing disc golf with her children actually helped him through the uncertain and scary beginning of the pandemic.
We’re so grateful for the generosity of everyone who came to support our mission and help us reach our goals for the evening.
