Every year, the generosity of our supporters allows Homeless Solutions to help individuals and families rebuild their lives. But annual giving alone will not sustain our important work in the years to come. Friends and supporters have the option to create legacy gifts in the form of named endowments – a meaningful way to preserve Homeless Solutions’ future in honor of someone important to them.

The Barrett family has created the Patti Smith Barrett Fund, an endowment with a goal of $100,000 dedicated to giving the people we serve an opportunity for stability in their lives. This endowment honors Patti, a steadfast volunteer at Homeless Solutions who cooked and served meals to our shelter guests, purchased Christmas gifts, and - along with her children – helped to make sure birthdays were properly celebrated with a party, cake and presents. Patti believed that life’s special moments should be truly special, even for those without a home. We continue this work lovingly in her memory.
