Olga’s Story

Olga’s Story

Olga had a good job and lived in a beautiful home with her son. Their life changed quickly when her company downsized and she lost her job. She is so thankful to volunteers, donors, and staff at HSI and the support system they have created to help get her back on her feet.

This is Olga and her son Michael. Many people have unforeseen circumstances that can completely change their life.

“When I first saw the apartment at THP, I got so emotional. It was what I prayed so hard for. The wood floors, the sun shining in through the windows, the polka dot window curtains. I just sat there and cried because I knew in this moment that things were going to get better for us.”
