Elsie Greene, beloved mother of former Homeless Solutions’ Head of Communications, Wendi Zimmerman, passed away this month. Elsie was a long time HSI supporter where she volunteered for 14 years. She was a regular fixture at our Dream Builders’ Bash and the Gran Fondo where she cheered on Team HSI. But her favorite job was working at the HSI Hospitality Link where she taught Spanish speaking street homeless guests English and helped them with job applications. Elsie was a much loved and cherished member of our extended Homeless Solutions’ family.

Elsie will be remembered for her kind heart, big smile, and love of family. Our hearts go out to Wendi and her family during this difficult time.
