CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ – Homeless Solutions, Inc. (HSI) (www.HomelessSolutions.org) is a leading private non-profit organization which has been helping the homeless in Morris County, NJ for 41 years. We offer a notable continuum of housing options to reinforce our “A Hand Up, Not a Handout” philosophy. In 2023 alone, 517 people received shelter, housing and outreach services, including 193 children. Nearly 29,670 meals were served at the shelter and 71% of families that graduated our transition housing program secured permanent, affordable housing.

We are searching for an experienced professional to serve as our next President and CEO, to be responsible for developing and driving HSI’s strategic vision and leading the organization in fulfilling HSI’s mission while promoting the financial and organizational health and public profile of the organization. The President and CEO will ensure that HSI’s fiscal operations, fundraising, marketing, human resources, technology and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented across all segments of the organization.

Homeless Solutions has grown substantially since its inception. However, there continues to be a growing wait list of homeless and housing insecure households seeking shelter and homeless services in excess of our current capacity to provide. There are many reasons for the rise in shelter needs, including cost of living, lifting of the moratorium on evictions, lack of affordable housing, domestic violence and substance abuse. The President and CEO will lead HSI through its next period of growth and scale to meet these challenges while maintaining fiscal responsibility and organizational health.
