Celebrating a Flourishing Partnership with Somerset Hills Community Health Foundation!
August 19, 2025
We have great news to share: Homeless Solutions has been awarded a transformative $40,000 grant from the Somerset Hills Community Health Foundation (SHCHF)! This generous funding will directly support two full-time Case Managers at our Women’s Campus—true lifelines for the women we serve.
During a recent tour of our campuses, SHCHF Board members along with Community Foundation of New Jersey Philanthropic Services Program Coordinator Lydia Gracey witnessed firsthand our innovative approach to helping women overcome trauma and rebuild their lives. They were particularly impressed by our creative programming for vulnerable populations throughout all of our services, reinforcing why Case Managers are so vital to our mission.
“I had the opportunity to attend a site visit at Homeless Solutions with the Somerset Hills Community Health Foundation Board, and it was a wonderful chance to learn more about the important work the organization is doing. Thank you to the staff at Homeless Solutions for their passion and hard work to elevate the well-being of those experiencing housing insecurity.”

Our Women’s Campus Case Managers wear many hats: crisis intervention specialists, resource navigators, tenant advocates, and program coordinators. But perhaps most importantly, they address the complex health challenges our residents face—with 68% currently managing chronic conditions. From coordinating medical appointments and maintaining insurance coverage to securing physical accommodations and connecting residents to food resources, our dedicated Case Managers ensure the women can remain stably housed while building independence.
This partnership represents more than funding—it’s an investment in dignity, stability, and hope for some of our community’s most vulnerable women. We’re deeply grateful to Somerset Hills Community Health Foundation for recognizing the critical importance of this work and helping us expand our impact!
