Shannon Muti
Shannon Muti joined Homeless Solutions in August 2013 originally as the Transitional Housing Case Manager. In January of 2015, she was promoted to Women and Family Services Manager and spent the following six years restructuring and managing HSI’s supportive services for women and families. In January 2021, Shannon moved into the role of Associate Director of Programs and Services where she began to oversee all of Homeless Solutions shelter, Transitional and Supportive Housing Programs for homeless and formerly homeless households. Shannon has been in her current role of Director of Programs and Services since January 2023. Shannon has a BS in Human Services from St. John’s University and an MSW (Masters in Social Work) from New York University. She also possesses a Post Masters Certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from NYU. Shannon is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Morris and was an NJBiz 40 under 40 Honoree in 2021. She has previous professional experience working in congregate care facilities for runaway youth, and school based programs for children with special needs, as well as in shared, affordable housing.
