Christina Tesoriero

Christina is an accomplished nonprofit leader with more than 15 years of experience. Prior to joining HSI, Christina was the Chief of Staff at Project Hospitality where she managed strategic initiatives, cross-functional collaboration and a 42-million-dollar government contract portfolio. In her tenure at Project Hospitality, Christina led key equity-focused initiatives including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and a cross-functional project that awarded the organization an endorsement as an LGBTQ+ affirming behavioral health clinic.

Before joining Project Hospitality, Christina spent a decade advancing disability services by creating and managing programs and engaging in advocacy efforts that supported hundreds of individuals and their families while prioritizing dignity, belonging and person-centered care.

Christina is also deeply engaged in community leadership, serving on the Metuchen Human Relations Commission, and leading important community discussions around LGBTQ+ inclusion and youth mental health. She holds a BA in Sociology and has completed specialized training in project management, mental health in the workplace, DEI, inclusive leadership, and women’s leadership through various institutions. Christina comes to HSI with a clear purpose: to strengthen process and provide strategic leadership that turns complex changes into meaningful, measurable impact.
