Two Additional Units in Morristown
Our HD team completed work on another Abbett Avenue house in December - it was a single family home that we renovated into two environmentally friendly units. Two families moved in in January and have happily settled in.

Abbett Avenue Apartments, A Grand Opening
The grand opening of the Abbett Avenue Apartments in Morristown was held on Friday, October 3. It was an exciting day for HSI staff, community supporters, and especially for the new apartments' residents! Thanks to all who have worked so hard with us to make the plans for the Abbett Avenue Apartments a reality!

HSI Celebrates Volunteers...
On Wednesday, November 5, Homeless Solutions held a very special event – our Volunteer Recognition Reception at the Morris Museum. It was our chance to say thank you to some of the over 500 extraordinary individuals who help us day in and day out to keep our services and programs running to assist those in need. To all of those who attended the reception and to those who were unable to join us, our most sincere thanks. We couldn’t do it without you!

Coffee tables for six HSI families
Many thanks to the employees of Morristown's RegentAtlantic Capital who spent September 11 at our shelter crafting coffee tables for six HSI families who will be moving out on their own. Led by Susie Schubb from the Morris County arts consulting firm, Jumpstart, twenty-six RegentAtlantic associates took time away from their corporate commitments in order to volunteer their time and talent to benefit HSI families.
Thanks so much to all who participated!
