Hospitality Link
Update
The May numbers for Hospitality Link (HL), our downtown outreach center, are in. Over the month, HL staff and volunteers helped a total of 383 people – an average of over 19 people per day. The center offers a variety of services and links to county agencies and other organizations, and some of the most popular include weekly ESL classes, employment search assistance, referrals, and transportation assistance. The mission of the center is to be a hospitable link for all clients, and we extend this hospitality by serving coffee and snacks, making newspapers available for the clients to read, and providing access to the internet, which most clients use for job search purposes.
HSI operates HL in partnership with several Morristown faith communities, and the center is housed in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 70 Maple Ave. in Morristown. For additional information, or if you are interested in volunteering, please contact HL Manager Trink Schwartz at 973.538.1442. |
